We do the groundwork in Ghana: finding the right businesses, helping them get properly prepared, and pulling their paperwork together.
We work with businesses directly, so we know which ones are really trading, not just registered.
We help businesses get organised and ready before they approach an institution.
We explain what institutions need in plain language businesses can act on.
We gather and check the paperwork so applications arrive complete.
We match ready businesses with the institutions that suit them best.
Clear consent, careful handling of data, and we never speak for anyone who has not authorised us to.
We are planning a pilot to help established Ghanaian businesses get ready to buy productive equipment. It is about preparation, not financing. Businesses that take part get help understanding what institutions require and putting it together properly.
EDOKAN Africa Limited is not a bank, lender, insurer or export-credit agency. Sending an expression of interest does not guarantee equipment, financing, insurance or approval from any institution.
When we mention institutions we hope to work with, we call them proposed institutional outreach or potential finance and risk-mitigation channels. We only show an institution as a partner once an agreement is formally signed.
Different partners bring different things, so we share value in different ways. Every partnership follows the same rules: clear numbers agreed before work starts, open books with regular statements, no guaranteed returns, and business owners’ information kept private. The exact figures are agreed deal by deal.
Preparation fees and revenue share. We find and prepare businesses and pull their paperwork together; you provide the finance, funding or programme. We are paid per business prepared, or share revenue from joint programmes such as sponsored training. We never take a share of lending profit.
Commission, or profit share on bigger projects. On sales to buyers we introduce, you pay an agreed commission on what the buyer actually pays. For joint projects to enter or grow in the Ghanaian market, we share the net profit of that project, with costs agreed up front.
Private, project-based participation. Investors can fund a specific EDOKAN project and share in its profit up to an agreed cap. Terms are agreed privately, after both sides take advice. We do not advertise returns, and no return is guaranteed.
The outline is for discussion only. A partnership is binding only once a written agreement is signed by both sides.
For banks, export-credit agencies, suppliers, government bodies and development institutions interested in working with businesses in Ghana.
We keep partner logos, contact details and outreach records private.
